Password Change Guide

If You Are in the Office

  1. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard.
  2. Click Change a Password.
  3. Enter your current password and your new password.
  4. Click Submit/OK to save the change.
  5. Press Windows Key + L to lock your computer and ensure the password change is properly saved.

If You Are Working Remotely

  1. Connect to NetExtender (VPN) and confirm the connection is active.
  2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard.
  3. Click Change a Password.
  4. Enter your current password and your new password.
  5. Click Submit/OK to save the change.
  6. Press Windows Key + L to lock your computer and ensure the password change is properly saved.

 

Important: If you are working remotely, you must be connected to NetExtender before changing your password so the update can synchronize correctly with company systems.

If Your Password Has Already Expired (Remote Users)

If your password has already expired and you are unable to log in:

 

  1. Open the Password Reset web desktop shortcut.
  2. Follow the prompts to begin the password reset process.
  3. When prompted for verification, open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device.
  4. Tap the blue "+" (Add Account) button in the bottom-right corner of the app. This will open the QR scanner.
  5. Scan the QR code displayed on the password reset page.
  6. Enter the generated passcode presented in the Microsoft Authenticator app.
  7. Once the password reset is complete, sign in to NetExtender (VPN) using your new password.
  8. Press Windows Key + L to lock your computer and then sign back in with your new password.
